Asphaltica World 2018 in Rome

Appointment with the road infrastructure value chain

Two days dedicated to the world of road infrastructures and waterproofing

Asphaltica World - the convention and exhibition event organised by Veronafiere and SITEB - Italian Roads and Bitumen - returns to Rome 25-26 October.
The event represents a sector that in Italy boasts 4,000 companies, 400 large bitumen production centres and 35,000 employees, expanding to 500,000 if allied trades are included.

The facilities of the Salone delle Fontane in the EUR district in Rome will welcome 50 exhibiting companies offering sector operators the latest technological developments and business opportunities available in the road-building supply chain. The four conference sessions will focus on topics of major current interest, such as the procurement code, smart roads, the circular economy, recycling milled material and waterproofing systems, together with the most innovative case histories illustrated by experts.

These aspects vitally concern the present and future of more than 850,000 kilometres of road infrastructure in Italy.

This is another reason why Asphaltica World is held in the Capital, in close contact with institutional decision makers and the main stakeholders. It boasts the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport, as well as the Department of Infrastructures of Rome City Council.

The initiative is an important step in the run-up to the traditional Asphaltica show at Veronafiere in 2020 (21.25 March) dedicated to road paving and road infrastructure technologies, scheduled in conjunction with SaMoTer, the international construction machinery trade fair.
